Compliance & Audit Assistant
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Location: Denali State Bank – Main Office
This position is responsible for providing advanced level support for the compliance and audit function of the bank. Under supervision of the Compliance Officer and Internal Auditor, assists with reviewing and updating policies and procedures, reviewing systems for regulatory compliance, conducting compliance related training, etc. This is a trainee role that has the opportunity for career advancement into an Officer level role.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or currently enrolled in a BA or MA program) in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and experience working in a professional setting. Progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing or banking may substitute for the education requirement.
Moderate physical activity. May require standing and walking for extended periods of time.
