Assistant Branch Manager

Position:         Assistant Branch Manager (Full Time)

Location:        Denali State Bank – Main Branch
                                                       119 N Cushman Street
                                                       Fairbanks, AK   

Salary:            $36,878/year and up DOE

Hours:            Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., must have flexible availability to cover at other branches as needed. 

Summary: Provide superior banking service to customers in a professional manner.  Provide customers and prospects with a clear understanding of technical aspects and benefits of products and services.  Efficiently and accurately handles branch operations to include responsibility for teller operations, new accounts, vault administration, and staffing.  Position assists in the supervising, training, coaching and evaluating of branch staff.  Responsible for making decisions consistent with established policies and procedures in the absence of the Branch Manager. 

Required Skills and Experience: HS Diploma or GED required.  A minimum of 4 years  prior Teller experience or equivalent.  Demonstrated supervisory skills and experience required.  Must have demonstrated longevity in previous position(s). Must be able to provide previous employment-related references (if applicable). 

Additional: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
