e-Statements FAQ

What is e-Statement Delivery?
e-Statement Delivery is a FREE service that allows you to receive an electronic version of your statement through our internet banking service, Denali Online Banking.  Delivery of your paper statement in the mail will be discontinued. By signing up for e-Statement Delivery and turning off paper delivery you can protect your identity by reducing the possibility of your statement being lost or stolen in the mail.

How do I sign up for e-Statements?
To sign up for e-Statement Delivery you must be enrolled in Denali Online, Denali State Bank's internet banking service.  Once enrolled in Denali Online, logon and click on the "e-Statements" tab.  Complete the short enrollment form, select the accounts you wish to enroll and select the document types you would like to receive.  That's all there is to it!

Is e-Statement Delivery Free?
Yes.  There is no charge for receiving your statements electronically.

Is my statement information secure?
Yes, your e-Statements are protected by the same technology that keeps your online banking information encrypted and secure.  We also recommend that you use the latest browser version available that supports 128 bit SSL Encryption. Furthermore, you can reduce the possibility of mail fraud and identity theft because delivery of your paper statements stops when you sign up for e-Statement Delivery.

What account statements are available electronically?
Your checking and savings account statements are available electronically.

How long will it take to set up my e-Statement?
Setup is easy and only takes a few minutes!  Once you complete a short online enrollment process, that's it!  A confirmation will be e-mailed notifying you of enrollment success.  Your statement date does not change.  Once your account cycles through the first statement date, you will begin receiving your e-Statements.   We will send you an alert via e-mail advising you that your e-Statement is ready.  Thereafter, you will have instant access to two months of account statements through e-Statements.

Will I continue to receive my paper statements?
The first time you receive an e-Statement, you will also receive a paper statement.  After that, you will no longer receive paper statements.

Will I receive cancelled checks or images of my checks with my e-Statement?
If you received images with your paper statement, you will continue to receive them with e-Statement.  If you wish to discontinue receiving images, please call our Customer Service Department at 907-458-4236.  Images are always available through Denali Online from the "Activity" drop down menu on the "Account Listing" page.

Will I be able to print my statement and check images?
Absolutely.  Once you open your e-Statement or view a check image, you will be able to print it just like you would print any document on your computer.

Will my e-Statement look the same as my paper statement?
Your e-Statement will look very similar to your paper statement.

What format will my e-Statements appear in?
You will have access to a PDF version of your statement.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader® version 6.0 or higher to open and view your documents.  Adobe Acrobat® Reader™ is free software used for viewing and printing PDF files. You will need this software installed on your computer in order for your computer to download, display or print your statement and images.  To download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader®, click here.

How do I save my e-Statement for future reference?
You can save your e-Statement and check images right to your computer as PDF documents.  Once you have opened the PDF, select “File” from the top menu bar and then “Save As”.  Be sure to give your statement a unique file name so that it is easily distinguishable in the future.

When will I receive my e-Statement?
Your statement will be available the day after your statement cycles.

How will I know when a new statement is available?
When a new statement is available, we will send you an e-mail notification.

What if I need to change my e-mail address?
To update your e-mail address, go to the e-mail tab from the e-Statements screen on Denali Online.

Who should I contact if I don't receive my e-Statement?
Please call Customer Service at (907)458-4236, or email us via the secure link on Denali Online.

What is the difference between my Account History in Denali Online and my e-Statement?
Both your Account History screen and your e-Statements show your transactions and are free of charge. But there are some key differences:
• The Account History screen shows all of your transactions for up to 30 days.  Transaction information is updated as it occurs.   You may use the "Search" feature to view transactions up to 90 days.
• Your e-Statement replaces your paper statement and is updated with your statement cycle, not daily.  Two months of statements are available with e-Statements.

Can I view my statements in Denali Online without signing up for e-Statements?
Yes, you can view up to eight months of your statements through Denali Online without signing up for e-Statements.
